Their handcrafted Lioness and Cub pendant is highly unique and stylish celebration of maternal love and is available in 925 Sterling Silver, 9ct or 18ct solid gold and platinum.
Inspired by the graceful beauty of the majestic mama big cat and our founder Jana’s love for her daughters, it would make the perfect gift for a mother-to-be, experienced or travel mad mum.
Did you know that female lions are in charge of hunting the majority of the prey to feed their pride? Yes, much like their human counterparts, the business of looking after the kids often falls mainly to the mums in the lion world too.
Every lioness necklace is handmade by a small team of expert goldsmiths at Jana Reinhardt HQ in Sussex.
Jana Reinhardt jewellery designs are inspired by the natural world and the naive art movement. They don’t use machine manufacture, preferring the old techniques of wax carving and fabrication to create our products. These traditional methods have no negative effect on the environment, making Jana Reinhardt a more sustainable choice for jewellery lovers.
All metals used by us are from accredited suppliers, based in the UK and Germany, that continually buy back and recycle scrap metal, thus helping to create more environmentally friendly jewellery.
